Our guest accommodation is the ideal base for touring the area, with the Jurassic Coast and New Forest within easy reach by car, as are Bournemouth International Airport, the rail and coach stations. Built in the Victorian era, The Balincourt was originally the private house of a prominent and wealthy Bournemouth resident. In 1926 the house became a private Guesthouse. A fair-sized garden stands to the front of the property and is set back behind trees, screening it from the road between Bournemouth and Christchurch. Each year we enter Bournemouth in Bloom, And in 2005 we won first in class. The house retains many original Victorian features, which we have been careful to incorporate in our refurbishment. All bedrooms are individual and tastefully decorated, with each room following a colour scheme, right down to the individually hand painted tea sets, glasses & sweet dishes.
